Crowded
For the Photo Friday challenge - '"Crowded"........So, a couple of years ago, as campus was quickly becoming a swamp, commencement was moved inside for the first time in years. I snapped this interesting shot of a very densely packed section for faculty members.

Remembering....
There comes a time in all our lives when we find ourselves saying goodbye to those we love most. One year ago was one of those times --- and today is the one year anniversary of Ellen Rose's death. A wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and leader ..... a woman whose grace, patience, kindness and whit were and will forever be unmatched. When I was a child, she was the grandma who always had chewing gum, cherry flavored "pop", hugs, white chalk, soft tissues, amazingly fresh smelling towels, and tenderly prepared meals to share. As I grew up, I discovered there was so much more to her than even what had mattered most to me as a child. She was so multi-faceted, so spirited, so soulful........and now so missed. I love you Grandma. Thank you for the gifts you shared and continue to share with us all.
